Well, if all that was mentioned in previous opinions regarding unfairness to the Reserves and Guard with respect to early qualifications to Annuities, ie retirement benefits before age 60, is not enough; I am a Air Force TR that was given a High Year Tenure waiver at age 57 for 3 yrs or age 60 whichever comes first on June 1 2008 but was cut off at June 1 2009 by General Stenner CC of AFRC. These waivers are given to individuals when their continued service is necessary for unit readiness. My squadron commander verified the need for my continued service based on exponential increase in loadmaster manning, but was denied.
