RE: I am very glad to see that someone cares about veterans. I think this will really help people be able to get the proper education they deserve. McCain has shown his true colors when it comes to people in the military. We can spend billions of dollars every year giving to countries that hate us but we don't want to help veterans that were willing to pay the ultimate price to protect this country. I think it is time that we are taken care of. Once I heard that McCain said this bill was too generous then he lost my vote. Nothing is too generous for our veterans. I am a disabled veteran and the reason that I joined was to give me money for school. This bill will really help my family out while continuing my education. It doesn't matter how much money they throw at people to reenlist they are going to do it or not. So, this bill will not affect retention. People are going to get out because they are tired of all the crap they have to deal with so they can better themselves. If anything this bill will boost people going in. I think this bill will be one of the best recruiting strategies that anyone in congress can use to give them the personal they will need to support the mission.
