I think it's time to cut the welfare programs and stop supporting wetback's and take care of our fighting men.

We are spending enough money. We're simply not spending it on the right programs.

What, you don't think we need to provide missile defense for Western Europe?

You are creating a FALSE issue with this statement. Some better and more accurate arguements are:
* As a nation we should NOT have cut taxes for the rich during a war and then try to pay for the war with borrowing.
* We should not have attempted to fight a war while pretending that normal people didn't have to be affected.
* Or even that we should have finished the REQUIRED war in Afganistan before starting the optional war in Iraq.

Well it is unlikely that any more money will be spent on the military under the current program of socializing the nation through wealth redistribution so I guess we will just have to accept the fact that the U.S. will become irrelevant in world events. I just hope the other nations in the world love us now that we have a President who is tripping all over himself apologizing for our past role as world leader. It was tremendously arrogant of us to have taken that position since so many other nations have stepped up to the plate.

It all started when i was in nam in feb. of 67 and they took away my M14 and gave me a piece of plastic to fight with. What a piece of **** that was.Now we cannot get enough of the right equipment to sustain us for the future.Lets all pray for peace so we won't need it at all.Semper Fi from a old Sgt. who gave it all in the nam.PEACE
