The AF had the opportunity years ago to upgrade their MH-53J Pave Low fleet to three engine Super Stallions for several million dollars and Congress said no. Now Congress and the AF are looking to spend billions for the same requirements that the three engine Super Stallion would have provided. It is unfortunate that Congress and the President is alway fighting the last war and not the next war.
