Good article, Ted Williams was a two war vet (WW2 and Korea). A hero and a roll model.

Old Army, do you own those vintage baseball cards or get the images off the internet? They're very cool.

Sports figures from today could (and should) learn a lot from the guys of days gone by. And they're right -- we do need more leaders today.

Its a different world unfortunately. The "Greatest Generation" had guys like Yogi Berra offshore on a rocket barge doing salvos to support the landings on Normandy for the D-Day Invasion. The few guys who play sports during their military academy years are now the exception.

I just read the article about these men who
put their service to their country before
their careers and it makes me proud of them.
I'am proud to be an American Veteran of having
served in Vietnam. Applause
