Sounds like a step in the right direction, but I've got 2 adopted children and I'm retired from the USN, living in the UK, so it's no help for me. I had to get an ITIN number for each of them just so I could get them on my tax return, a real hassle!
Come on folks, there nust be thousands of foreign adopted kids of American citizens living abroad....don't they deserve to have the same citizenship as their parents too?
