I've noticed the use of the garbled yet readable words in military.com stories in the past week or two such as this:

The 1st Infantry Division was moved from Würzburg, Germany

What is the reasoning? OPSEC? Certainly isn't hiding anything from me!

These unit's do need a presence over there.Massive troop reductions from Germany all at once just don't seem like the right thing to do at this time.

Yea, that's the last thing the Germans need, higher unemployment. We totally pull out and areas like Baumholder will completely dry up.

Personal opinion, the Cold War ended in 1989 it is long past time for U.S. troops to leave.

Germany will survive - maybe even prosper as it rebuilds it's military and maybe U.S. troops should leave Europe all together.

Perhaps you should tell that to comrade Putin. I'm sure he will laugh at you.

The way Bush has been acting the last seven years, I think I would rather be in bed with the Devil I know (Putin) than the one who is acting irrational.
