How funny that they run this story at the same time they are announcing to the world that the LCS has been canceled. Just an example of how editors don't talk with one another!

Just another good reason for the need & development of this very potentially useful vessel. Being that the idea behind the LCSs development is to conduct modular designed missions, then the more types of missions that it will be designed to carry out, the more valuable it will be...beside the fact that it helps us to bring the original idea of a fast frigate navy & amphibious army (Marine Corp) into the times & needs of today. So long as there are barbaric terrorists out there that mean our Nation harm; then there will always be a need for this kind of force, as well as fast air delivery of the same....

Yes... editors do talk to each other and work together; both stories had tag lines referring to the other. Np
