I was going to ask the same thing..what does an article about the Battle of Savo Island and the "Long Lance" torpedo have to do with Iraq, Mormons, or the price of milk?

Don't know where he got his opinion on the Imperial Japanese Navy's Long Lance torpedo, it was one of the best of WW-II, superior range and a very heavy war head compared to ours. As far as Japanese Naval Infantry is concerned, THAT'S WHAT THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE CALLED THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE MARINES! Anyone who has a dim view of the Imperial Japanese Marines, had better ask a U.S. Marine about what he thought of the capabilities of the Imperial Marines, he'd have a different view than that posted by the "newbie"...
