Well said!! I too am a white, middle class male from Oklahoma USA (and by the way - Sooner football is tops-but we do love the Huskers secondarily) - and I have never really understood racism. I came from a school with very few races other than white. I recall one Jewish person from my grade. So one would think my segregation would lead to uneducated views. To the contrary.

I have never understood hatred of a person because of their color, creed, religion, country of origin, etc. Particularly here in the USA. We are all such a conglomeration of different identities.

While I think hatred is an ever increasing minority view, I am still baffled. Regardless, thank you for your articulate and thoughtful words. I couldn't agree more.

Although I am not a member of the armed services, thank you to all of the red, black, white, orange, yellow, purple and green individuals who protect my liberties every day.
You are true heroes - size, shape, or color irrespective.

It's just small and insignificant little people who have failed, because of their own inadequacy
and look for any reason, than their own responsibility, for their failures...
So they pick a "them" and get angry and hate "them", when it should be "themselves", that they should be angry with...
IMHO...
