RE: http://www.military.com/opinion/0,15202,155639,00.html

i have to wander if there is any such thing as a good politician, french, american, russian....they are still politicians. a politician says what they think people want to hear, at that time and that moment. this guy talks agood game but hasn't acted on any of it yet. actions will speak much louder than mere words from another politician! if you replace the word "politician" with the word A$$H0LE then ya know how i really feel about em! Although I see his point I don't agree with him. Trust the French? Not hardly and no way. Their politicians are even worse than ours.

Good start, ok. I am in wait and see mode, they French do not have a very good track record and less they are in charge. The Legion has a good if not fantastic record but not their polictical leadership.

If the Heritage Foundation can change their opinion about the French, perhaps they'll shift their thinking on the little conflagration they helped start in Iraq.

But then its easy to change your mind about things you were only kidding about. A Beaujolais nouveau is still excellent with veal, and there really is nothing like Paree in the springtime. For the 'fondation heritage' pommes frites are still a 'custom' order.

Vive La France, vive la difference!

Of Course I'm not that dense. OF course he was the man in charge. He really hated anyone else getting into his sandbox and he was also an empire builder.

Let's just say, we've come a long way since freedom fries . . .

That had to be one of the stupidest, bone-headed moments in congressional history.

And Peter, you could do us all a favor by just saying no when asked for advise by our hapless president? Hasn't he had enough lousy advice from the Heritage Foundation (who seems bent on ensuring that we will no longer have a heritage)?

With friends like you, we dont' need enemies.
