Based upon this description by Mr. Lind, it would seem that Pakistan and Mexico are already fighting 4G wars. While the same can be said of about a dozen other countries -mostly in Africa- these two impact America very greatly.
Another nail hit on the head by Mr. Lind. One the powerful ideas from 20th Century psychology is Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Maslow pretty much told us that we will put ourselves in danger to keep from starving, and swallow our pride to keep from getting killed. [Well, not really new information but he put it together in a coherent theory.] It seems we will welcome the shady government that keeps us fed and secure over the noble government that does not. Talk to some old timers from any major city and you will hear stories of how neighborhoods "looked the other way" regarding organized crime because "the Mob" kept the neighborhood where their families lived safe from petty criminals and streetgangs. A family member told me that in Chicago during the Depression a family in need might find a bag of groceries on their back porch before an election. They knew to vote for "The Machine" candidate if they wanted to see another bag. The ward boss took care of the ward, the ward took care of the boss. The 4G forces don't need to read Maslow or Chicago history to figure this out.
