The Kurdish people in Iraq, and Kurdish-Americans here have more than proven their patriotism and commitment to the United States during the 1991 Persian Gulf War, and again in the Global War on Terror. Lets not draw conclusions because of a bunch of punks that need a good butt whipping. Maybe that little Pride gang needs a chapter in the state prisons system; they might get more than just a butt whipping there. In the mean time, our thanks goes out to the law abiding citizans for their patriotism to this country and commitment in this war.

At least Mr. Lind is consistent. He has never wavered from his view that monocultural societies are healthy and multicultural ones are not.

It is already too late for the United States to consider itself a monocultrural society. So, America ought to spend the resources needed to enforce our laws and to encourage ethnic communities to support such law enforcement efforts.

We have made these troubles for ourselves. America had a moral responsibility to bring in millions of refugees, displaced by our war against the North Vietnamese in Southeast Asia. We did so, albeit reluctantly at first.

Eventually, we will be faced with the same situation regarding Iraq.

At least 8 million Iraqis have been permanently displaced. They have no homes now. When the ethnic cleansing process has taken its course, most of them will never be able to return. We should be prepared for at least 2 million refugees. This is a consequence of our wilfull destruction of Iraq. The wounds we have inflicted are too deep to heal in a generation.

In our nation of immigrants, the Moslem world is under-represented. I know that Mr. Lind would shudder at the prospect, but a few million more Arab Moslems living in the United States may help us in the long run to regard the Middle East differently.

When real and frequent terror attacks begin on American soil, look to these refugee "enclaves" as the water that the fish will hide in.

This is going to be a major problem for us. Lind is sometimes regarded as a "crazy". I think, in this case, he will be regarded as a harbinger of truth.

I shudder for the future of my children in this country.

Look,, you can get as loony tune as you want- In WWII everyone feared the Bund and Nisei groups- the Bund shut itself down, and the Nisei provided many great soldiers in spite of their treatment. Pracility every immigrant group in our history has had gangs, did someone somehow overlook the Mafia, Boston's Irish Street Gangs, the Tongs in S.F, the black gangs, the motorcycle gangs, the KKK, etc? Most were ethinic in nature, most were/are controlled by good police work! Let good immigrants learn to be good citizens, & cut off the gangs support and the gangs will fail! Stop looking under beds for bogey men, unless you actually see one, then stomp his 4th POC!

A little off the subject. But jailing gangs members doesn't shut down the gangs or prevent a lot of the crimes committed (The gangs still generally run business as usual while the gang leaders are in prison sending them orders from inside), or their quick to promote a new leader.
Sooo, since all it is is a revolving door policy and not really shutting down the crimes, how bout a new stradgy...like deporting out of the country any criminal (that has not committed murder at least) to any 3rd world country the US provides funding too. Make it part of the provisson to take the US dollar. For every $100,000.00 in US Aid, they get one free prisoner that they have to hold in their prison system for at least 5 years. They get the Aid, we get rid of dredge on our sociaty. Oh, and make sure the prisoners do not go to the country they originally came from if they are foreigners. make it just a bit harder to come back here to the US. If they survive their ordeal in the Host nations prison system, then they become that Host nations citizen. I'm tired of us tax payers paying for the expensive Holding pens of these convicts, that once they get out will be back again, and also tired of the US providing to ungrateful nations finacial aid (which us taxpayers are also paying out of pocket). So, if a country wants US Aid, then they got to take a convict with it. It's most like a hell of a lot cheaper to house a prisoner in a 3rd world country than it is here in the US.
Just for a throw in...Murders/ Lifers should go to some Pacific Island we captured back during WWII. Just my two cents worth that will never be taken seriously.

Mr. Lind once again shows his disdain for anything that doesn't conform to white suburbia norms. From the start the United States has been multicultural, with German, Polish, Irish, Black, Hispanic, Chinese, Japanese, etc communities. The European white communities have mostly integrated and don't relate as strongly to their roots as some of the others, but I applaud those communities that can hold on to thier own culture.

Mr. Lind won't be happy until everyone dresses like Mr Rogers and listens to Bing Crosby.
