If a tree falls in a forest and lands on a politician, even if you can't hear the tree or the screams, I'll bet you'd at least hear the applause.

Now, I have had numb nuts in the mail room mail out classified to unauthorized addresses, using shotgun envelopes to deliver classified, and even shipping classified equipment to the wrong depot.

BUT!! Shipping missile parts by mistake? Come on! Who's head will roll on this one?

There's a thread already running on this that includes photos *and* espionage theories! But seriously, this is a major security breach.

Was it a mistake or was more along the lines of "hey guys take a look, make some notes & send it back"? Give Tawain a little extra something to play against a rising Chinese military power.
Let the conspiracy theories commence! Cool

A 'mistake' is using one cup of soy sauce in your recipe instead of one tablespoon. Shipping parts of an ICBM is a criminal activity and should be treated as such. No wonder the PRC is making leaps and bounds in their technology...sure they went to Taiwan but the guy who opened the box knew where the real money lays for U.S. National Security secrets.

I can't get into details, but you can actually fedex a certain level of classified documents so long as the envelope is sealed, requires a signature and has no labels on the outside stating that the documents are classified.

He he he...

Oops, dang. Well I'm sure that the ROC did not reverse engineer them. They only had them for a year or so sitting on the shelves with all the rest of the batteries.

But you know with 750.00 dollar toilet seats and heck didn't we just arm a nuclear bomber by mistake about a half a year ago? Schyt happens.

Of course we, the US would never help the Taiwanese to build nuclear weapons. That would be proliferation.

It is not like when Clinton administration authorizing the transferring of technical data that the Chinese did not have, which allowed them to launch satellites into space, develop MIRV technology, (MIRV = Multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle).

So not only did the Chinese gain the knowledge to build and successfully and reliably launch ICBM missiles anywhere in the world but that ICBM also can carry multiple warheads, {Just like Us} that can target not just one country but possibles many countries and if used on the USA many our cities.

And we would not want to piss off the Chinese just before their Olympics.

You can trust the Taiwanese. I do. I even bought a used car from a ROC officer that was studying here in the U.S.

Got me from Chicago to Colorado and did all that I asked of it.

Gee I wonder if the requisition order or manifest was lost in the fire at the VP's office?
