Are we creating our future enemy? Afghanistan has a judiciary that in wholly made up of clerics. Iraq's so-called democracy is a junta of three sects and the constitution is dedicated to Shari'a.

It must be great to not have a job and be able to go out and protest and bash our government all day. For all you Bush bashers, if he is supposed to be such a moron, how come he beat the 2 people that you dems put against him. Sure does not speak well for the loosers.

If a tree falls in a forest and lands on a politician, even if you can't hear the tree or the screams, I'll bet you'd at least hear the applause.

Ummmmmm, actually, no! It speaks volumes for those who not only voted for him, but still believe the vapors do not smell.

Maybe the members of Code Pink could protest by volunteering to go over and do the jobs "war-profiteers" are doing? They're probably the same people that screamed for a smaller military prior to 9-11-01.

The people that march in these protests have a strange way about them. Throughout their lives they are always on some sort of rant or cause. They can't just settle down and enjoy life. Weird folks these types.

Those from Bear Stearns who are responsible for the company going under while gaining immense wealth are counting the days until they can leave the US and rejoin their money.

Its no secret that a select few have gained immense wealth from the Iraq war but until those in congress and the white house that allow this to happen are replaced, it will continue to be business as usual until they have completely ruined a once great nation. And in case you havent noticed, Bush and co. have done an excellent job of driving the US towards collapse

protesting against the war is like slapping the troops in the face for what they've already done/will do and shed blood for. people will profit off of major events, its the nature of economy. but u never hear these protestors acknowledge that the iraqi and afghani people, because of US and coalition forces, now have more freedoms than they did before. Yes, it is unfortunate that innocent people were killed/harmed in the collateral damage of it all but freedom is something worth dying for. Say we didn't eliminate Saddam and just let him go on with his tyranny, is that not the same as seeing someone being stabbed on the street and not taking action to help that individual? There are things in our short existence worth dying for. The American economy can be torn up, ripped to shreds, but not the American spirit. The armed forces is a volunteer service. No blood in the middle eastern theater was spilled without a cause. So those people who say they, "support the troops, but not the war," are against their cause but still support them? Try telling that to a fallen troop's spouse/sibling/mother. Bet you can't.

just my 2 cents

After listening to the CinC's speech on the fith anniversary of the war. I have listened to several analysis' and have done some searching on my own about what he said. Much of what he said is either distorted, of just a plain lie.
If a mod wants some proof, the "90,000" he said are now fighting on our side are mercs. Yes we are paying them to fight for us. Also, February has seen a dramatic increase in domestic casualtiles and deaths, not a decreasing amount.
I fought and blead for my beloved country and to think that the C and C is G.D.LIAR irratates me to no extent! I have freedom of speech and I am exercising it. If you want to censor me than so be it. I have the proof and the right to say this.

Thank you for serving but after reading your rant I have an idea why you retired as an E-5, what I don’t understand doesn’t the Army have the equivalent of the USAF tophat program.
God bless and protect all our people in harms way where ever they are.
