Yep, and we're gonna give them all of the data and intel on our shoot down of our satellite just like they are demanding.

The US, Russia and China...quite a world troika. Hope we do not become the Russia for China. We destroyed Russia (USSR/CCCP, whatever it was) economically, looks like they may be destroying us in the same way?

Missle guidance, Loral, Clinton administration, Chinese political contributions.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Is this Hillary's international experience?

Yes, I can understand all that, but when a few years back Ronald Reagan wanted to develop "Star Wars" it was all going to be absolutely wonderful wasn't it? The thoughts of a program like that didn't upset anybody . . . Smile

We have handed the Chinaese our entire economy on a silver platter. I guess it doesn't matter if they have the capability to destroy us from above. They are already crippling us down here.

I frankly, don't understand why our military has to have so much transparency. A few weeks back when we shot down one of our own satellite's we invited the Chinese Military to see how it was done. Why show them anything? I seriously doubt the Chinese Military will be showing us how they achieved space based weapons. As far as I'm concerned the Chinese represent the future threat to this country. I'm glad we are in Afghanistan, as we did with the Soviet Union, strategic positioning is everything. The largest oil reserves left for the getting is in the Uzbekistan & the Tajikistans of the world Tis is right there, just beyond the reach of the Communist Chinese Government. As long as the U.S. Military is sitting in the region the Chinese are cautioned against just bum-rushing them and annexing these countries as the did to Tibet. This time for the oil and other natural resources in the area

Everyone seems to be on the right track. We are buying everything they have. No one in our country wants to do without and will buy junk because if it breaks they replace it with the same junk. Their people are starving outside of the big cities. But, without money they are falling into our status of years ago. We are controlled by gas prices, now watch, we will politically bow to strength. They have been a sleeping giant for years. We educate them, sell them material that they study and their goals are long range not day by day. Your right about the Clinton policy. Look back and see the relationship. We are in long range trouble but the political babies of the late sixties will turn for the easy way. Life is defending yourself and those you are associated with, not outsiders.

Not to worry Gents. When Barrack Huessain Obama becomes president, he'll just go talk to them, his words. Not to worry Gents, everyone will be paying to much attention to the health care tax, which will ensure health care for everyone one in the country, including Illegal's. Yes I said Illeagal's, not "Undocumented workers", as the demo's would have us call them.
Not to worry, just stay home and don't vote, and the Obama thing will come true.

A book available in Amazon.com called "SPACE WARS" by William Scott an editor with Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine, wrote all about this. The book is great, and reading what happen when an enemy 'removes' our satellites is chilling!

Neutralizing our satellite communications, surveillance, and reconnaisance capabilities would be very damaging to our economy, as well as to our military. We would lose whatever force-multiplier effect they bring to us, and will put our under-manned and over-extended military almost at the mercy of the host countries and occupied territories where they are stationed.

But none of this will force us to surrender as quickly as a 100% embargo by the Chinese against all exports to the United States. Our dependence on China for manufactured goods is already so extreme that we could afford only a short (weeks at most) war with China. Short wars are not what China is good at, nor what it wants -unless we surrender, that is.

Do you think that all those proponents of "Globalization" understood that U.S. dependency upon China's largesse would be the outcome of NAFTA and the WTO? I happen to think so!

Sounds like we had the cold war with the USSR now we are going to have a Space War with China. Looks like we may have to outfit the international space station with a couple of batteries "for protection" as well as the Space shuttle. Please space is for peace but red China wants to play rough in space and cyberspace.

Just as Cleatus45 stated "if we boycott china- wal mart would have to close!
No more cheap GARBAGE for the American people!" The only reason why the American govt deals with China is because of $$$$$ If we did boycot china over 75% of everything made by companies would go out of business. This again is follow the money. It just makes me sick Curse

Any society or individual or group that feels threatened will seek to defend itself. Seems to me that's all the Chinese are doing. They feel threatened (wonder why?) and are trying to put systems in place to defend themselves. That's only the same as what we did back in the days of the "Evil Empire", so why get excited about it? And, they haven't done it yet either, they've just said they're thinking about it. Smile

Now, when we elect Senator Obama as Number 44; we will END the United States Space War "Competition" with China -- according to what he says on this youtube Video!

- "I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems."

- "I will not weaponize space."

Star Wars was a defensive intiative. The Chinese are snivelling on one hand when we took out that satellite, but it was just fine when they showed everyone what they could do.

I'm looking for that answer TPCAT. Her rhetoric "implies" that she; would improve other social programs at the "detriment" of Defense and the Military. And, that seems to be consistent with what happened under "Number 42."
