Did he go for a judge trial so that he would only have one person laughing at him?
What a jackass(no disrespect to jackasses intended).

This is totally disgusting and demeaning to all those that serve. Whatever the maximum penalty is for his actions should be multiplied by the number of awards / medals he stole with his lies.

Well, is there any differance in this case compaired to those who write themselves up for awards? I mean if this guy was an Officer, everything except maybe the PH would have gone through without a problem. It is sad that he did this and what made it even worse was that he went out and got a plate on his car with the BS. It would be nice to do away with medals and keep it to awards period. No more ribbons/medals. Lets your SRB speek for itself and end this embarassment..............

It's fools like this guy that are taking the prestige and Honor of such awards from those that Actually earned them. Those who were willing to sacrifice their own life for a wounded buddy. I think they should make this guy go straight to Combat patrol duty, I mean he has the medals but he still has to earn them right? I mean, friendly fire is a MOFO.

There was a story a few days ago about 2 iraqi soldiers that threw themselves on a suicide bomber during the Iraqi Army Day ceremony. And then there's this guy. Of course I'm not saying that Iraqi troops are better than ours, but I'm damned sure sayin those 2 were better than this 1.

tIs he an idiot. He didnt even deserve it. He is a discrace to the American military and that is what makes other countries look down on us. In My ranger oath i said to not lie to the military because people are depending on us, but you can say what ever to civilians. We should all say that. WHAT A JACKASS

Just like a politicion cheat a little and don't get caught then cheat a lot and get caught ,if he had stayed with the purple heart he might not have been found out. It is espcially bad for a Corpsman...

I would have to agree with Darkstarz what he did is not acceptable by any nature. He shouldn't only be punished but also an example that when you enlist in any branch and you commit a crime you should pay for it even more than a civilian would becuase you are representing this great nation. I thinking Military Prison.
