What we need to do, is sell these countries our human rights groups instead.

Of the leading 6 (or top beneficiaries) of our military aid, 5 of the 6 are in the middle east region. Oh, this wonderful Uncle Sugar program must be working wonders because most of it goes into the very region that has been trying to kill us without letup since 1991.

Checkbook diplomacy really works doesn't it? Ya, right, and Bin Laden is the only extremist muslim who is trying to croak us. Our Congress will never learn. They have been doing the same thing for the last 50 years and it is still not working. Insanity hard at work. This is what happens when a nation has too much money in the hands of it's politicians. Everyone has their own axe to grind and they all like to feed out of the same trough. The citizens have to change the way politicians work in this country before we all go broke trying to pay the bills these fornicators are pilling up.

We need to get out of the arms exportation industry yesterday. A good number of nations we conduct deals with aren't people we should interact with...

So let me get this straight...
You guys are complaining that we are finally joining the civilized world by taking a baby step to try to keep "untargeted munitions' and funds going to "slave soldiers".
No wonder we find ourselves among only 2-3 failed states that haven't yet done this - it's a shame the article didn't mention that fact!
I suppose you are all for the removal of our civil rights to trial and to face our accusers and you're probably for indefinite imprisonment too?

Did you ever look into the mirror and ask if maybe, just maybe, you are the enemy of freedom?

What needs to be done is the munitions need to be made in a way that they all explode, then used to their full effect, then there is no excuse to stop using them. There is probably a cost issue here, they would cost more to be made so they all explode, so more soldiers have to die because they are not used? that's really good. Fix the fockers and then get them used.......
