an oil company can do a sonic test to find oil many thousand feet below ground, but we can't detect a tunnel a few feet below the service? wtf

The story was non-informational in the sense that "Did they catch anyone" If the press was confident in printing the story, they should be able to tell us more.

Can you imagine the blow to the US status if they were able to pull of an attack inside the US with 100 well armed men? Even if it failed to cause any damage and we killed all of them, it would be a strategic victory on their part.

Well, the reason they think they can do this all the time is because Hillary and Osama (I mean, Obama) promised they'd get American lawyers to protect their non-American rights.

If a tree falls in a forest and lands on a politician, even if you can't hear the tree or the screams, I'll bet you'd at least hear the applause.

Even Vietnam era sensors were able to detect underground activity. They know that the tunnels end in warehouses in Laredo, Texas and Arizona.? And if they know that, what!???? If that were true, seems the FBI and boys can’t locate their rear orifices in a hall of mirrors with three hands, a railroad flair, and a X100 magnifying glass. Seems to be more sensation than fact. Wonder who they used as a "reliable source", Curve Ball? This just seem to be another nebulous story circulated by the boys from Foggy Bottom to increase their budget and make it appear that they are doing something about the situation. Have a good day!~! This sounds like a 'headline only'

It has almost zero substance

Almost like saying, "something was going to happen, and would've done something about it"

Very thin stuff from the Wash. Times

I agree, Tanks. Did they catch anyone or was it just a plot to make citzens scared that our own intelligence training facilities can't even keep a watch on themselves much less the country. It doesn't surprise they would eventually find out this information and try to attack the very people who are putting them in jail.

They're telling us all they want us to know, which is a good thing.

2 reactions:

1. Who in their right minds would oppose physical barriers and strict enforcement of our borders after such a thing would occur? And how can anyone rationalize that we are making America safer by spending $Billions "over there"?

2. There cannot be a more appropriate military target inside the United States than Ft.Huachuca for the Al-Qaeda network to target. However, it would give our interrogators even more incentive to brutally interrogate them, if they did.

Ok! I read between the lines. Nothing there! Was stationed at Ft. Huachuca. Also went to school there a couple of times. Believe, me, if even one swarthy looking individual showed up in any of the surrounding towns, it would be noticed and reported. Ft. Huachuca may be in the sticks, but that is part of its protection. Have a good day!~!

Guys. let's think about this line of thought. IF the terrorists are coming down the same tunnels as the 'illegals' and we find the tunnels the people bringing them over will have to find another way. What's in it for them to bring in terrorists? Plus, even if they don't they will have far more border patrol there than before, again what's in it for them? finally has anybody actually been to fort Huachuca? The place is BARREN for at least 100 miles in all directions. This is a non starter just so the Army can get more people to fight. Best story I ever heard about this is that one day this guy bought a gun, so he took it out of town on a country road pointed it at a bunch a rocks on a hill and blasted away about three rounds. Then all the illegals popped up saying 'No mas, no mas!" and he had to cease fire and notify the border patrol to pick up all them illegals. He said he didn't know they were hiding but you know about them hunters claiming all sorts of things. Kinda ruined his day too cause he wasn't intending to do nothing of the kind filling out many, many forms. marbil7@att.net

Now the cartels are aiding our enemies which make them combatants. We now have to send a document to the countries that harbor the cartels that they too now may become targets of the military.

Mexico allows these tunnels to exist and incepted from their side. Mexico is now aiding our enemies and a document needs to be sent a to Mexico in that they are now liable to receive military action.

We should have allowed the plot to materialize further so that those out of country could be concentrated possibly in the tunnels.

We blow up the tunnels regardless of what Mexico says.
