I have been on a few Seahawks and have heard one thing said by many of the crew that ride these things. That if it is not leaking hydraulic oil, then something is wrong. And, every single one I have ever been on was leaking like a sieve thank goodness.
Just glad all my fellow veterans were rescued and they r going to be ok,to bad we can't say that about the other four we lost in January,I know it comes with the territory being a Army & Navy veteran myself who served aboard the U.S.S.Nimitz,with squadron VS-24. And in turn I would like to salute all my fellow veterans past, present and those to cone on Veterans Day,n all we have lost may they or us be never forgotten!
Glad to hear they are all alright, but when is the Navy going to fell the need to update to newer and better helo's, This is the third or fourth crash in the past year and ahalf for the navy in the pac fleet. Are west coast sailors so slack their just signing off maintenance of just putting it off? I think this highly unexceptably if so, knowing that my brother is SAR and on the flight schedule every other day, makes one worry more than they should.
