I can't believe this looser is still working at Ft. Lewis. Far as I am concern this guy is a disgrace especially to his soldiers. Once again the military legal system lets loosers like this slip through the cracks.
Smokey your sarcasam is is only exceded by your witt. LOL What is a federal judge doing sticking his long nose into a Military Courts Marshal anyway. IMO None at all. Friggin Liberal Seattle. Can't hardly wait for the Cascadian fault to rip loose and dump that place into the sound. Then the rest of the state can get it's vote heard. San Francisco north, with the same hate the millitary attitude.

You got to understand, this federal Judge is part of the Ninth Circus court of appeal, the most overturned court in the Nation. The problem is that he is probally anti President Bush himself, and therefor feels the same as this scumbag officer.
Folks, It's time for a lesson in constitutional law. Although you're invited - I doubt that you'd be interested. The lessons learned would contradict your bias. Since I haven't read the mistrial order I'm not commenting on it - only your attitude which is protected from restraint, which is more than could be said of attitudes in dissent from you. And before you get on your high horse, check my profile!
thus lt should be court martialed he knew well in advanced that he might be called into a conflict for his country when he took his oath if he did not want to defend the country he should not have joined the military. from a vet

And this one will be overturned, because the Ninth Circus does not have jurisdiction! The Court of Military Appeals in Washington D.C. is the venue for Courts Martial appeals in the federal system.
Whatever happened to utilities with a large P on the back and confined to the stockade awaiting court martial?

I did check your profile and saw nothing there that indicated an expertise in constitutional law. Take it from a former university professor in the field, the 9th Circuit does not have jurisdiction. And the question is over military law, not constitutional law. Further, this forum is the place for dissenting views on these events, that's why it exists. Your argument that you have the right opinion and everyone else in a high horse merely shows you are more self-serving than anyone else.
AIR ASSAULT!
P.S. Sorry Sunliner, didn't mean to step on your post, you said it better and more succintly than I did.

Dude
Your profile paints a pretty clear picture that you're a fraud and a poseur. Either that or you don't remember when you served or what was going on. Get real...

This Army officer is a coward. Too many punks are crying foul AFTER they raise their hand and buy into what's going on. This war is not criminal...his actions are and he should be severaly punished. What a disgrace to the U.S. military officer corps.
He needs to be neutered so that his genes are not allowed to contaminate the gene pool. Put him against the wall of cowards and purge him from the earth........
We have have gone so long, doing so much, with so little, now we can do anything with nothing.

So you carries RR Tracks... WTBD?WTF are you a Jag?
I'll start by saying I know almost nothing of trial law. I thought that the point of a mistrial is that the Judge says 'This is f'd up! Do-over!' Can anyone edjumacate me?
Also, this POS is a disgrace to my Army. You don't have to like the orders you receive, but you must follow them when they are legal, and these were legal. He needs to go on a short trip with a quick stop at the bottom.
