Libya was demonized (?) for sponsoring various terrorist groups and for trying to undermine pro-Western governments in Africa

I wish the AP would give proper attribution to the reporters who spew their editorial innuendos throughout the news. Of courtse, they do it with the full approval of puppet editors.

It would good to be able to take names and hold accountable the "journalists" who consistently propagandize under the ruse of "news".

That's taking editorial license when the author manipulates, it's not good journalism in fact they would have been fired from a reputable media. You can't find but very few left (or right). When man found how to speak, he found out how to lie. Nature of the beast.

Anyway, Zawhari seems to be feeling lonely loosing some of his friends.

Since both sides of this arguement Al-Qaida and Liba are on level playing field regarding being sane, I'd suggest we make Charlie Manson an ambassdor to help settle this dispute between them. He'd do as good of job as the "Old Winbag" H. Kissinger I would think! At least there would be no doubt about Charlies real motives! Ha Big Grin

Trying to grab at straws and foment disrest. That is their schtik. I am sure Ghadafi does not want to get involved with any more crisis in his life and he is getting old and may be dead in a couple of years thus possibly leaving a vacuum in leadership.

What might happen is what you see going on in Pakistan. Foment trouble and balme the U.S. for being friends with these folks which will always piss the fundamentalists off.

Of course we are involved and will continue to be so long as any depnedence on them is critical to our may of life be it oil or just the general sanity of beligerent nations.

Anyway this is the way of the future for awhile and may escalate into a possible nuclear exchange between Pakistan and India. Hey we are dealing with fanatics who really and truely have nothing to lose. How would you like to think that you will be married to a bunch of yelling and scream partners who are very butt ugly so much so that berqas are manadatory and then on top of that be suffering ball lice.

Maybe Mohamar will hunt down the dogs in his own country and make them disappear and then we pay Libya to get up into the Pakistani mountains and chop up Al-qaida. It's a thought. Angry Whip Whisper

Anyway go Gators we beat Vanderbilt today. We will be much better next year. Maybe national champs again.

Take this with a grain of salt.

We basically know the lawless region these scum bags are in. Pakastan has no control over the area, so the region is really not part of their country. We have lots of new nukes that need to be tested to make sure they are accurate. Why not drop an large assortment in the area and make it unihabitable for say, the next 200 years. Who would complain? Chance are we would nail some of them and get the regions attention. We could call it OPERATION 911 Response.

Hmmmm maybe thats why I will never be a General Beer

This is right out of the Al Q... playbook.
Losing on one front, shift the news, emphasis and troops to the alternative front. Paksitan, Afghanistan, are all going down hill for the Al Q.. folks, as well as Baghdad, Kurdistan, the Rivers at Basra...
Osama sent a TV message, disperse, unite, fight again... Lybia is North Africa, North Africa has always been the Islamic Caliphate Goal. The Islamic state within Iraq failed, time to move to another locale. Lybia....
Watch the videos, the TV web sites, this is the preferred method of communicating to the troops, as the USA now listens close.

Libya was not only 'demonized', it was bombarded by strike aircraft of the United State Navy and the USAF for, among other things, supporting terror. Ever hear of Lockerbie?

Just what is YOUR point? Revising history?

Or are you griping that writing about facts should be as attributable as fabricating the news (which generally isn't).

I look forward to Al Q starting up with the Libyans who will most likely not deal with the criminals with the same level of political sensetivity as we have been.

When they get hold of our people they have been decidely cruel and brutal, turn about is fair play.
One reason that Saddam didnt have the problems in Iraq that we are having was because his minions were decidely brutal, efficient and thorough.
I am certain that Libya will not concern themselves with the rights of the terrorists if they attack them and are captured.

Of course this may all be an effort at disinformation to take us off our guard in preparation for another attack.

Don't you just hate it when telemarketers callup a company/organization, Archaeology Today, LLC(np), a historical and pre-historical research group, and attempt to sell you on using Credit Cards. I asked all three callers if they knew what "archaeology" was, and naturally they didn't. Dumbazz pukes.

Back to the story. I agree, I believe Ghadifi can hold his own with these pustules on the world's but.

Ghadafi is still a wolf in sheeps' clothing. I wouldn't trust that SOB any further than the next hostile idea that pops into his head.

I completely agree... Problem is who or how are we in the Western world ever going to be able to re-educate journalists? It has to start with pressure on the educations systems. Those that pass out the degree's are responsible!
