this terrorist should never been released. I don't buy this renouncement of terrorism to his so called government.

It shows how YEMEN is a haven for terrorist. Ifeel the U.S. & THE U.N. should block all monies to YEMEN. I'm very irate that this fool gets away with this crime.

Why not invade Yemen like Iraq? If someone doesn't support invading Yemem then they obviously don't care about the war on Terror!!! Traitor commies (sarcasm intended)

Al-Qaida used to have an active presence in Yemen, the ancestral home of Osama bin Laden. The group was blamed for the bombing of the Cole and the attack on a French oil tanker that killed one person two years later.

Well with this individuals release, it looks like Yemen once again has a active presence of at least one terrorist...

One shot, one kill...

What part of murder don't these dipwads understand? Terrorists aren't soldiers, they're sneaky scum. Yemen obviously doesn't realize how transparent this is to the rest of the world. Must be watching American t.v. news too often...

It's not the point these men are murderers, look at our own justice system....Murderers go free every other day... Our prison system is more flawed than most countries in the world but it is because we are a free nation that those problems exsist (wouldn't want to chop off a thiefs hand that wasn't a thief, whoops...) I agree with this system of justice since the death penalty is irriversable (although I don't agree with the harsh punishments for small crimes...)
The bombers are traitors (to their countries), they are terrorists (against the world), and they should be punished as such (death)... Forget murder, they are in the next catagory.

Interesting....

According to the article, it is not a crime to advocate jihad or to be Al Qaeda.

Why hasn't Yemen been on the list of terrorist states? Why did we (Do we still?) use Yemen as a port of call for our navy? We would never think of doing so with Syria, Iran, or North Korea.

Not to worry Boys and Girls, we will read about this Islamic Radical and his misdeeds to come...

A Classic Example of Why we shouldn't "Catch and Release" (turning them over to other countries) our terrorists.

It has been proven time and again that we have fought/killed "Released" Radicals in Iraq and A-stan...

But, according to our lefty associates, its far more important to be considered a sympathetic Humanitarian, although killed by Islamic Radicalism, than a stalwart defender of Human Rights...

The proverbial, "Its not our problem..., let "them" handle their own problem without our help..."

The truth be known..., ole Slick Willy had Yemen taken off the "Sheit List..." IMHO.

Tell it to the families of the 17 sailors murdered by those b******s. International laws or not, there are NO STATUTES OF LIMITATIONS ON MURDER in this father's book.

The Sailors of the USS Cole were the loved ones of their families and were ours lost.

Justice over Vengeance,
Forgiveness but not Forgetfullness,
Survivors & Victims before the Criminals,
Innocent Lives over those who CHOOSE to threaten innocent life,
And the God-given means to apply just force to those who do threaten us & our loved ones...

From a Veteran's Son, Brother & Father.

"....Yemen does not have a law that criminalizes Jihad, or holy war. Detainees remain in prison until they either renounce their commitment to Jihad or are released under pressure from family and human rights groups...."

Human rights groups?? Where are these human rights groups when the USS Cole was bombed? or when the Twin Towers went down.

".....Since the suicide attack in July that killed eight Spanish tourists visiting an ancient Yemeni temple, President Saleh has said in several interviews with local papers that al-Qaida had reached a truce with the government."

Reach a truce with a terrorist....this is only accomplished after the terrorist slits your throat.
Has anybody have more info on that silly whinner that protested the flag folding and reading of the recital as the flag is folded at a funeral service for a service member?

I can only pray that someday a sniper punches this animals entry ticket into hell.

I have great doubt about our State Department and even our Executive Branch having the B___s to do anything other than talk when a bullet will speak louder!

The dead demand an accounting...will we see it?

Why hasn't Bush placed them back on? Oh that's right because he doesn't really care... Why isn't he planning an invasion of Yemen yet (I am assuming he is not...)

I care. At least for the members of the Cole that never made it back. Don't pull partisan issues if you cannot deal with truth in honor...
