This kind of reminds me of the comment made by the General in the movie "1941" He said: "Captain, You can secure ONE city block can't you?", so he could go and finish watching the movie "Dumbo". That movie makes me laugh ever time I see it.
I am greatly disappointed that the British forces are leaving before completing their mission. But that's the way it's going to be. We Americans now have to watch what happens in Basra, which forces leave, whether US forces will have to provide protective cover for the British as they leave, and finally, whether US forces will have to deploy there in greater numbers to fill the void. I think the US should now get out of the Balkans, as it is a European problem. I have long wanted the US to leave NATO, as it is no longer of value to us and the Europeans are perfectly capable of defending themselves.Mr. Brown is no friend of the US. So be it. The sun will rise in the morning.
After 5 years, almost a trillion dollars, and everything else, the hungry hungry hippo(Iraq, which has been getting fed an infinite supply of everything) is ready to control a grand total of 1 area!
So lets all celebrate as we watch the hungry hungry hippo show off another one of its eeeny weeny teensy weensy baby steps.
Now lets see how fast the hungry hungry hippo can move!!!
