hmmm, i'm wondering how the TV news media is going to spin these facts. they'll probably hype up how many deaths there were rather than put the figures in correct context. well, that seems to be their M.O. at least.

This is completely GREAT news! Like you said before, I'm afraid that this won't get much air time. The main"scream" media as well as those on the left are invested in our defeat so they can regain power in the White House as well as Congress.
Either way, good job "Joe & Jane"! Way to prove that you are the best in the world!  |

Great news, I hope it continues and I hope that the numbers are accurate. Remember that BOTH the Iraqi government and the US commanders have used creative counting in the past to make the numbers "look" better (for example referring to sectarian violence and using a definition that left out a LOT of the total violence). |

Before everyone becomes exhausted by patting themselves on the back, need to wait and see if this is truly a downturn trend, or just a temporary issue. I am a great believer in waiting to see if it truly is permanent, or just another temporary decline. Remember, it is neither as dark as first reported, or as light as last reported. Things can change dramatically overnight, either way. Have a good day!~!

Its one month... Hopefully the trend will continue with the Iraqi military getting on track and playing a bigger role. There is not much the left can do with this story so you wont hear to much about it.

nice stuff, still upsetting to me that our troops are still dying, but glad to hear it seems to be getting better(for the moment at least).
yea, the media will report this, but they will hardly emphazize the positive, and will try to spin it into their defeatest agenda, b/c if the surge seems to be working and they all say otherwise, the facts will make them look stupid, and they can't have that. |
