What a bigot. There used to be Generals that said African Americans shouldn't be allowed to serve either. What does it matter what a person's sexual preferences are? If they can do their job well, and serve their country they should be allowed too. They shouldn't have to face this kind of stigmatism and prejudice. General Pace uses the bible as his guide to morality. The bible endorces slavery on many levels including selling your own children into sexual slavery. It also says that we should kill anyone that is not a Christian. His guide to morality is skewed and a poor example to use as a basis for his prejudice. General Paces remarks are yet another example of the violation of the seperation between church and state that is violated by our countries military and political leaders every day. I say let people do what they want as long as it doesn't interfere with my rights. Who is he to push his antiquated idea of morality on the rest of the military community?
