Well, that may be easy to fix but, I believe that the porous southern border may be easier but, very inconvenient. Considering the exposure of Terrorist cells in Europe with their home grown membership; the revelations in this article has been about as predictable as Tide Tables. |

I can see the news reel now after the bill gets passed (if it ever will). The European countries will be in an uproar about this and give our country a bad credit. Now we are going back into cold war tactics of spying on others but the difference is that we are going to say that we are doing it out loud. Is this a good idea?

seal the southern border..yea it's "inconvinient" but Haj lives in the desert, i don't think he would mind crossing one to get into the US. not to mention that so called AMERICANS are making it more convinient by setting up snack shade areas along the border, and the mexi gov't is doing the same thing all through the crossing areas.

Our government is allowing many many thousands of Iraqi's to resettle in this country. Don't they see a possible threat there? Where is their alligence? Could they be terrorists? Are we allowing our future destruction to immigrate to this country?

While reintroducing VISAs would make it more difficult for Europeans to get to the US, I think the EU would immediately slap a similar retaliatory VISA requirement for Americans to visit Europe. With the amount of American-European business traffic that goes back and forth, I doubt that the VISA waiver program is going away anytime soon.
Not to mention how many Europeans would no longer visit the US and further hurt our tourism industry. This would also cut down on US visitors to Europe, and I don't think they want that either. |

Solution = Withdraw our troops from Iraq and post the Army guarding our now unguarded borders, and the Navy and Coast Guard to do the same on the water. Illegal immigration is far bigger issue than us fighting some totally nonsense war in Iraq.

10 day suspension for CiC bashing. 30 Jan 08 dmuhler |
Deport all Muslims back to Mecca. That way Al Qaida won't have to travel so far and can give higher signing bonuses like 75 or 80 virgins instead of 72.
