Isn't that special? Nothing will happen. So far from what I read, all cases of corruption and what I consider treason have been blocked by the Bush Administration in the interest of National Security. It's a joke.
The Blackwater thing is treason if it's true, and people should hang. But when money is involved, what do people expect from what is actually a mercenary operation? I brought up last year how I thought it would undermine our country and security when we farm out military jobs to mercenaries. People jumped on me like I was a traitor because I didn't believe that good Republican backed companies like Blackwater could have our best interests at heart at all times. That their people will all swear allegiance and never do anything wrong, and if you don't agree then you're against the troops. What bullcrap. If even one allegation of black market weapons sales is true, Blackwater should have its contract pulled right now. They would have helped kill American troops, and even some of their own, all for money. |

They should put the ones responsible on trial for treason like you said. This has got to be the most corrupt war ever. It probably makes the German corruption in WW II look like a bunch of Boy Scouts at a flea market. Sighting National Security or not, if Bush wants to hide things then Congress needs to be doing it's job, investigating all this stuff, and hold those accountable accountable. Money will be the downfall of this country.

Speaking of Waxman - he's been at it for 9 months now. Has he completed a single investigation that he started? I haven't heard anything recently on his purported willingness to challenge executive privilege either. |

 Are you being for real Smokey ? As a Marine you were certainly trained in, and hopefully, practiced fire discipline. Remembering the importance of fire discipline you defend Blackwaters failures ? I personally would run them up and disc them if they were operating in my zone of action. I almost once did an intelligence champion operating under my jurisdiction in Korea. Remember; it is no 'fishing trip' for the dead Iraqis and their families, Smokey.  |

Yup, and if they were selling arms in Iraq, they were likely shipping Iraqi weapons back to the States for their own greedy purposes, too! What say you now, Infantry32, bold defender of Blackwater USA? I do not wish to see this one swept under the rug. A full accounting needs to be obtained through this investigation and the guilty parties need to stand trial and be made an example of!
