How come the article doesn't refer to Iran as a Muslim state?

This is a non-story, story....... Iran has been threatening to destroy Israel since oh, 1948... and wait until the Jews unleash "Samson's Fist"...... Game Over!!

I'm kind of stumped here.

I read approximately a week or so ago that the U.S. is drawing up plans to attack Iran some time next year. How can we attack Iran when we are bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan? Have we not learned anything from Germany in World War II? We can't open two fronts, much less three.

Since this article comes a week after the articles relating to US attacking Iran, and a few days after France (of all countries, France) talking about preparing for war, I'm assuming this talk from Iran is in response to the escalating verbal threats.

Everybody's got plans to bomb each other. We just have the better plans and they know it.

Well, so everyone has a plan. Big deal.

The real question is; Whose plan will actually work?

The next questions is; Is it worth the risk?

I find it amusing how France is right there with us on this matter. I bet they wont mind us launching an attack from Iraq to protect them even though they dont agree with the war.

This article makes it sound as if Iran just did this yesterday! The destruction of Israel still tops the list of "things to do" for its sworn enemies since the day it was born.

Israel has been attacked 4 or 5 times and, miraculously, not just survived but persevered.

Too bad that this centuries old hatred of the Jews continues to fester and infect the region if not the entire world.

You might want to re-check those facts...........

From the time of Israel's founding (1948) until 1979 when the Shah was overthrown, Iran was a US ally and in no way, shape or form threatened Israel. Iran and Israel were actually allies up until the 1979 Islamic Revolution and it wasn't until the past few years when Israel started threatening Iran over it's nuclear and military programs that Iran even bothered turning it's attentions away from domestic affairs to Israel.

If you actually read the article you linked you would have seen that it said that the Iranian plans were there if and when Israel bombed Iran first.

It will attack Israel ONLY if first attacked by Israel. Read the article. Every nation has a right to protect itself.

Iran does not have that power to attck Israel alone,they know they will lose,Islamic republic count on his terrorist groups such hezbollah and hamas + syria,I believe they are serious to attack Israel but I also believe there is no win for Islamic republic.
I just hope if taht they arived,Israelis don't make another mess like what they did on war against hezbollah,last summer.that war made mullahs bolden and to think they can win the war on Israel.
Islamic republic also would attack Israel if United States attack Iran!thats what i think,

I'm sure that the Israelis are shaking in their boots . This is the same country that couldn't take out the Iraqui army or defeat their AF. I have no doubt that they have improved dramatically over the last ten years and that their 'Revolutionary Guards' are a true military force not to be taken lightly, if you are an unarmed civilian.

You talk about fighting unarmed civilians, look what happend when the IDF fought opisition that had more advanced weapons than rocks rember that 10 by 30 mile area that they could not secure in a month?
My observation is that the IDF has some serious issues and the IDF of today is not the IDF of years gone by.

The Iranian military of today is not the military that fought the Iran/Iraq war they have come a long way knowing that they would one day be attacked.

Everyone and every nation has the right and obligation to thier populace to have a retalitory plan for self defense if attacked from outside.
Since the begining of written time, Isrealite leaders seem to have been at odds with every nation and territory they lived in. They have brilliant minds but tend to disregard the rights of others leading to resentment and hatred.
