Is this why all of a sudden NK is cooperating & saying they shut down their operation? Helez & Co. were just saying earlier about it all being a sham... Roll Eyes

They wouldn't be buying that equipment in Pakistan would they?

The Duchy of Grand Fenwick might be next for the list. The story says they have missiles, too!

WMD Redux:
Remember the WMD rumors about Iraq? Of course you do! The Bushies/Neocons are hoping that the public can fall for the same trick twice. As long as the Press and TV news outlets cooperate, they could pull it off.

Israel could attack Syria while the U.S. attacks Iran using the same justification. Then the whole Moslem world, from Morocco to Mindinao, could be crushed or humbled. That will be GW's legacy.

Remember the "little excursion" by Israeli aircraft into Syrian airspace recently?
Could this be the reason that they were testing air defenses and serving a warning to Syria?

well OBL is dead, Saddam is dead, Israel wants Asshatinjihad, so the US needs a new boogey man.
Hmmm...what about Syria? weak military, loud mouth leader, sounds perfect to demonstrate US military might. they shouldnt be more than a few days of air strikes to render them a playground for terrorism and thus a new face for the GWOT

Ah, F it! Why don't we just declare war on the entire ME region. Well, except for the Saudis, of course. Chit, we are heading in that direction anyway. I guess Korea is just an afterthought about now, right? Oh, and then there is China. Can't forget them. Chit, let's just say that it is us against the world? Might as well. Then we can call it the GWOWT.

Unless you can prove otherwise, Syria might as well look for the nukes. I will not put it past that idiot Assad.

Can't say that i am worried. They are way to close to us in order to bring this stunt to completion.

Was the link a news media source? Why don't you post it now? Hmm. I thought so. If it isn't official then it is chit. Simple as that. The news media and their ability to actually confirm their sources has been quite unreliable as of the past 10 years. You think, maybe, that you should possibly not plan your day based on what you see on TV? Do ya think? Possibly, maybe?

Yes and no. I say that because I know the media dynamic today as compared 2 years ago. It is QUITE different. That is pretty much what I was inferring.

O.K., so what is the difference? I mean I haven't noticed anything. You go to CNN or FOX and they are pretty much the same as two years ago, just coming from different points of view...

Of course. Silly me. When you posted 'proof' from your favourite I'marightwingloony.com site, we should have all realised the truth. Roll Eyes

Syria has never commented publicly on its nuclear program. It has a small research nuclear reactor, as do several other countries in the region, including Egypt.

Now watch as Syria's small research nuclear reactor grows and grows in the minds of the pi$$y-pants chickenhawks.

Any bets on how long it takes one of our resident hawks to use the phrase 'Syrian mushroom clouds over American cities'?

And you are going to blindly believe the "official" version of events without your own due dilegence?

I am willing to concede outlaw93's point that yes, there was much compelling evidence to show that some (no one really knows how much)weaponized chemical and biological agents were passed on from Iraq to Syria even in the weeks and months preceeding the US invasion. However, like I said why attack Syria? what useful purpose would it do? Why did the US abandon the policy of containment?
