Bin Laden Wants a 'Caravan of Martyrs'....Has the media asked him how it feels to want? And why in hell does the media seem so insistant on giving this pisant a place to speak. The Media is doing enough to distroy this country. I wonder if they are arab owned? Has anyone investigated that?

Unfortunately, there are lot of twisted minded supporters out there and Bin Laden knows it. I worried about the mosques that continue to go up around the world. It's said that the Muslim radicalism is growing rapidly. Look at what is happening in the UK and Germany. There's concern there that the mosques there are breeding future extremists. God help us all if that is the case. They have an agenda and it isn't friendship and cooperation.

He wants a caravan of martyrs? No problem, just say when and where so he and his martyrs can fight us like real men.

No joke there. They are using the mosques because they know we wont destroy them or attack them. So they automatically become a safe haven for the scum. I say carpet nuke them all.

So far, most of the posts on this particular thread have been very amusing. I expect that with this type of armchair aggression that should OBL not be captured by next year on this date, I am to assume that I will be laughing again at the posts. As a matter of opinion, I believe OBL is already dead and we posibly will here of his DNA being discovered sometime prior to the elections. By the way, please don't insult the USMC by referring to them as a mop up crew for the Navy Seals. If you ask any Seal, he holds the marines and all services in high esteem. I myself thank all for your service.

And, if it was Osama, we have to ask ourselves, is he so relavant today that we should consider him instrumental to the extremeist cause that our attention should be focused on him every time he speaks? Again, I'm not convinced.

Osama, if he is alive, appears to be influencing the actions of a fringe element. Sure, he'll take the opportunity to speak on the "progress" of others, but it is not because he is specifically involved. On the contrary, it is more likely that Osama brings these things up only as a means of catching the attention of potential recruits and in an effort to maintain current supporters.

Now, how do we ensure that Osama and those like him, who are among the few extreme enough to carry out attacks on targets in the continental United States, are deprived of those recruits they so desperately desire? Why by discouraging instability in the Middle East of course.

As far as this problem goes, what is done in Iraq is done. Iraqis, for better or worse, are deciding what to make of that nation and none are asking extremeists like Osama for their opinion. What we must focus our attention on now is improving our relationships with Middle Eastern nations who might yet produce the type of support that Osama and those like him are after.

How do we do this? Well, by softening our stance and negatiating with characters that we have until now avoided. (As has been done in the province of Anbar.) This will reduce the places of sanctuary that currently protect those who promote the very mentality that we wish to do away with for the good of all involved. It will also prove far more effective than spreading the conflict to new areas can ever hope to be.

folks, OBL has 56 siblings. any one of them has the means for plastic surgery. also, his family owns property in Pakistan. if OBL is alive, then he's probably there and not residing in the rugged terrain of Waziristan. remember, OBL grew up a spoiled rich kid who spent his 20's hanging out and partying. it wasn't until he got into his 30's that he started in with all that islamo-fascist mumbo jumbo. while his fight against the Russians in A-Stan gave him street creds; it was his money that was most attractive to the Muslim Brotherhood boys.

his family disowned him on paper and through public statement. but, family is family. OBL does enjoy strong popular support amongst the people of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Also, 56 siblings is a lot of siblings. it might the policy of disownership; but, not the practice. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he had some younger brothers or sisters who worshipped the ground he walks on.
