An Israeli designed nuclear accident in Iran will achieve a slightly different outcome in to-day's middle east than their last exercise in Iraq, if for no other reason than the USA does not exercise the same level of control it once held over its Moslem 'allies'.
The US might as well do it, it will get all the blame. |

I do not understand this kinda crappy thinking? They are not alone! Maybe you squeamish Brits thinks so but I do not,don't dare put me in your boat! Why not let Israel do this solo? If this scenario plays out there would be far less desire by either CHina or Russia to intervene than if the US were to do so. There is no threat to the US by Iran but the threat to Israel is real and while Russia may use words to denounce the attack, they would do nothing to "punish" Israel nor would China as an Israeli attack would be limited soley to nuclear facilities and NOT oil production

The Iraelis or jets with Israeli markings are testing routes into Iran and some will go through Syria! They did not shoot anything down and now the enemy position has been recognized and located. Get it? I said nothing of Iraq as we control that airspace.

The threat to Israel regarding nukes has been issued by Ahmadenijad and of course, the Israelis take it serious. They have already demonstrated the capability to take out nuclear facilities and they won't stop until the job is done. I hope they go for it!

The Gulf States recent announcement of acquisition of U S military hardware probably includes refueling gear for the F15 and F16. They might find it to their advantage to fly Saudi Arabia route (who has compatitible equipment) there and return the same. Refuel over Riyadh or fly to international airspace where their own aircraft can fill the thirsty tanks. There is also aircraft that cannot be seen on radar they might borrow for this occassion. Arab states have much more to fear from Iran than from Tel Aviv and they know it. There is no doubt in my mind when the time comes, a decision that Israel will not consult with other than their own leadership.

The Sunni states and thats all but Iran do not want a Militarised neighbor in their midst,so will want them diminished! Unfortunately they do not want the wrath of radical Islam attacking them so will officialy denounce any actions against any Muslim country,thats how it is and God bless the US. Israel has PROVEN its ability to handle its business, Hoss! Let the bombers fly and annihalate Iran's nuclear sites... then dare anyone else to respond, like Syria - who has made references to the Golan Heights recently. Go ahead, Asad... make Israel's day! IF Israel doesn't survive, neither will anything in a 2000 mile radius around Israel. Whatever else you might say about Israel, THEY still have backbone and look out for their own interests and survival. |
