Unless the dimensions of your typical M1114 door windows have been radically changed, you still aint getting out through there.

Better would be explosive bolts in the door hinges, like on Aircraft canopies.

But hey, try it yourself, unless your Paris Hilton, you aint fitting through that window.

LineDoggie, they're for the windshield, not the doors. But getting out will probably be a bey-atch. I don't have hardly any MOLLE gear attached to my vest. I wear a chest rig, in case of egress complications. Our unit had an SOP calling for the first aid pouch to be worn in back & on the left. That damned thing got hung up on everything & I felt like I had been kidney punched after 45 minutes on the road. Made my own SOP, it goes left front, now. Friggin' commander is an uber-fobbit, only left the FOB for a range & to go on leave.

I was thinking the same thing. even the normal windows are pretty small.

Aren't they all? They would only leave if someone higher ranking ordered them to go! As for SOPs, sometimes its best to ignore them and make your own as you did.

Sounds like another stick patch on top of other sticky patches that creates a sticky situation.

You seem to bring up up a sticky situation! Whats happened to the MRAP acquisition that got slapped down?

I honestly wonder if they have purposely FLIPPED a HMMWV with those windows on them to see if you can still get them to pop out afterwards. My experience with flipped HMMWV's (and it's a LOT of experience) is that the hard top pretty much welds itself to anything that would have normally come off with the bolts removed...

Are you able to squeeze through the windshield in your gear?
Looks like it will be a very tight fit...

Your all wrong, have a terrorist rigged with explosives drive point. If he runs flip the switch, perfect guide dog.
