Mama told Sally not to go downtown...
Too many horny Soldiers hanging around....
Sally didn't mind & she went anyway...
Wanted to find out how a Soldier plays...
3 months later she began to swell...
6 months later it hurt like hell...
9 months later & out it came...
was a bald headed Corporal swinging a chain....

Three of my kids were born at Fort Campbell. Oprah was there 3/4 yrs ago when they had their 'first' baby boom. She had a shower for all the pg moms. They got a ton of GOOD free stuff. Wanna see alot of pg women? Go to or near any Army installation. Thank God we're DONE!! Big Grin

Sounds like they need to update their TV Cable selections the next time the troops come home. I wonder why they are surprised about what is on a soldiers mind when they come home from that sandbox.

AHhhhhh...HomeComing babies! we have one ourselves Big Grin
my friend susan can count all her hubs' deployments by all four of thier kids LOL

it is sad though, that many times these kids dont see their dads until after their first birthday. our girl hasnt seen her dad since she was 7 months old when he came home on R&R. she wont see him again until she's 21 months. he got the extension orders yesterday, 187 days. what a surprise that will be for him. she was a newborn when he left, he came home to a crawler for R&R, and she'll be almost 2 when he comes home. these frequent deployments do play havoc on family planning. our other child just turned 8.

I have a homecoming baby, too, but she was actually planned. Was fun to see all the other big bellies around when I was pregnant Big Grin

Not gonna be fun to see him off to his next deployment, but I am grateful for the time we've got together Smile

The funny thing is how they are placing this on the troops coming home... you can't tell me that some of those wives aren't just as "excited" when they're husbands come home. My husband has only been gone for 7 months and I can tell you that he doesn't get a choice in the matter when he gets home Wink

After the births of two beautiful daughters, preplanned btw, after the year in Nam our son was born 9 mo later. But thats all for us. Now the grandkids add spice to our otherwise tranquil [no clock, no boss, no job, no money] retirement. lol

Keep on keeping on guys. Salute Beer
