If there is to be a "celebration" of our conquest to repeat the history of Rome; shouldn't we also examine and celebrate other forms of perversion and decadence such as bisexuality, bestiality, pedophilia, sado- masochism or, auto-erotic asphyxiation?

Darwinists accept homosexuality, in nature, as a form of population control triggered by stress such as male/female ratio, available territory or food supply, etc.

Homosexuality is now generally tolerated. However, toleration, acceptance and encouragement are three predictable and separate stages of cultural decline.

I find it curious that this article did not mention or acknowledge the effect of sexual orientation on security clearances, national security and the cultural divide between the west and the Islamic world.

This has to be the most ridiculous rant I have ever heard, especially from someone who is apparently a retired Colonel from the military. The faact that you would write "they injest feces" bring forth many questions to my mind as, Why do you know this? What proof do you remotely have to support such an accusation? and maybe there's something your hiding judging from the level of hate in your posting, what could it be?

Why would you not want an American to serve his country? Didn't hurt the Romans or Greeks. and it doesn't warp your mind, curve your spine and lose the war of the allies..

Your statements have no factual basis...the behaviour which you relate is not limited to homosexuals...heterosexuals and serial killers exhibit the same traits...

As a matter of fact it did hurt the Greeks, at least.

The Romans used the fact that the Greek phalanx (at least the Spartan, Theban and Boetian models) was strengthened by the bonds of affection between the older men in the rear ranks and the younger soldiers up front. They devised tactics to break the formation by isolating individual soldiers whose lovers would attempt to 'rescue' them and so weaken the whole.

Overt homosexuality is just another in a continuum of human foibles that are detrimental to both to the individuals who pursue them and the society in which they live.

You probably wouldn't want to get blood from some heterosexuals, bestialists, necrophiliacs or a compulsive mutilationist either.

It doesn't matter how well practicing homosexuals and lesbians serve our country. Their behavior remains in violation of the UCMJ and IS, as 'popsiq' indicated, contrary to good order and discipline. The originators rightfully recognized that fact. Just as our nation's laws were crafted on Judeo-Christian principles, so too was the UCMJ. Such practices used to be shameful, but as our nation slides down the slippery slope of immorality, so goes our military. However, until such time as the UCMJ reflects otherwise, a swift kick is in order.

The reason the article doesn’t mention the effect of homosexuality on security clearances is because there is none. That is the reason it was abandoned as the ridiculous reason to keep gays and lesbians from serving.

Chuck, the Scripture you are referring to includes a long list of those who practice behavior unacceptable to God who won't inherit the Kingdom. Even though those things may be what some of us used to do, thank God for His grace, huh?
