RE: http://www.military.com/NewsCo...13319,131926,00.html

My boyfriend and several friends of mine are currently in Iraq and Afghanistan. When he came home for R&R last week we talked about the possibility of his deployment being extended. At first I was upset for obvious reasons. I want him home and safe as well as every other soldier.
I’ve always respected his passion for what he believes in, which is why he enlisted. That is one of the things I love about him. So finding about the probability of this makes me feel as if I’m between a rock and hard place. Every American soldier fighting in this war is a volunteer. No other country in this war can say that. And every single one of them is there because they believe it is right.
So I support this decision. It is necessary and even though I want my loved ones home the quicker we can finish this dam war the sooner my constant worries and fears for their lives will end.

Nobody nowhere other than your boyfriend has talked about tours being extended to 15 months. But thank you for stirring up the rumour mill.

PS you might just wanna take a look at when the story you have a link too was actually written (APRIL 12 2007). That would be over 2 1/2 years ago. I would think if your boyfriend has spent more than a day in the military he would have learned attention to detail.
