What can I say? I'm well known on this board for thinking "Heathens and Homos" shuld be full fledged respected members of the Armed Forces.

I GO WITH GENERAL PACE ON THIS ONE.

SIN IS SIN.

Sin ended up destroying the nation of Israel in 600 BC and the nation was scattered for 2500 years.

I believe God has blessed America because of its moral leadership from the time of the Puritans.

ummm, how can a ban on gays be lifted since the "don't ask, don't tell" policy endorses the privacy of one's sexual orientation? Confused

if that were fact NO ONE would be in the armed forces. i assure you, sir that you are a sinner and yet you cast stones.

"moral leadership"?

whatever you are smoking, lay off. America has not had "moral" leadership in 221 years...

from George to George, they have all been dirty.

Native Americans died because they had no resistance to the diseases brought by the puritans. This left fields cleared by the Native Americans to be used by the puritans. The puritans also broke into burial mounds and food caches belonging to Native Americans. Do you contend this is god's blessing?

When I was on active duty, the reason given for homosexuals not serving was, that they were a security risk. They could be forced to divulge what they new, to keep their retirement and status covered. If you remove the restriction to service, they wouldn't be a security risk. Either let them serve openly, or not at all...
Respectfully, SUNLINER81

To HELEZ - you are absolutely correct. General Pace is a highly experienced military leader whose opinions should be highly respected. After all, if it weren't for his great wisdom and leadership we would still be slugging it out in Iraq. While we're at it, I think we should ask his advice on global warming and illegal immigration.
